As we sit in Golden Meadow, LA we are watching the radar as we see Bonnie turning north and headed to Mississippi we pray that the outer weather doesn't hit us. We hope that the rain and wind will stay at bay until Saturday night. We have had such an amazing time with the people of Golden Meadow but we desire to share the love of Christ tonight to a large group here.
It is our desire to see people come the know what a relationship with Christ can be. Please pray with us for this weather and for the opportunities that are going to come tonight and tomorrow as we finish up this trip and begin to think about home.
Why is it that we starting thinking about home way before the work is done. When God has called us to do so much and we still have so much work to do and yet we find ourselves thinking of being at home (Heaven). We will always have heaven, heaven is always there but the work that God has laid before us is what we need to focus on when we are not at home. I miss my girls and my wife and even my own bed that doesn't deflate every night but I'm not ready to be home yet, not till the work is done...God please be with us as we finish this race and we pick up speed and sprint to the end all in the desire to see your Glory exploded all over this land.
