Super Summer Expectations

I am currently at Super Summer Oklahoma in Shawnee. Super Summer is a Christian Teen leadership camp where students that have a personal relationship with Christ and are leaders in their youth ministries can come and be challanged to lead in their ministries at the next level.

Tonight I was modeling a talkback session with our College leaders and at the end I challenged them in writing their expectations out. Apart of that is that I would post my own expectations here on my blog.

For Ignite Students

• That they would come expecting God to work in their lives
• That God would challenge them to go not only beyond where they are currently spiritually but for them to exceed anyone that they have seen
• That they would light a spark that when they all go home turns into an inferno for reaching their lost friends and family for Christ

(I am also writing down specific prayers for each student but I am not posting those)

For Myself

• That I would spiritually be renewed, refreshed and refined
• That I would be challenged beyond my own capabilities
  
• That I would hunger for more of my Savior
• That Student would not remember me but what Christ says through me
