Roger, Don't Screw It Up

I an so excited about my upcoming week. I have never in my days as a Pastor or even as a Christian been more excited about what God is both doing around me and letting me see. It has been "one of those summers" that you always here about from other ministries and wonder when you get to experience yours. I am in the middle of it now. I have not only got to see our students "get it" this summer, where they start to understand that ministry is not about them but about others and how awesome it is to see other student come to know Christ as Lord. I have been able to see students come to know Christ as Lord, I have got to baptize more students this summer than ever, I have got to see God work within our church and see adults come to know Christ. It has been amazing.

Tomorrow I leave for Calumet City, IL...outside Chicago. This is a mission Trip that has seen me get very passionately upset at things and questions very seriously what God has in store for both our ministry and myself. My biggest prayer this summer has not been, "God, let me see your work" it has been "God, don't let me screw it up" I have seen God more this summer actively pursuing Students than ever before. So I ask that you would pray for our Students as we don't entirely know what God has in store for us but as always this summer, It's going to be AWESOME!!! GOD, DO WORK!!! And let us see it, please.
