Top 10 things I have learned since having my daughter

This was an article that I wrote back in August 2008 for our Church Newsletter. This is the basis of my new posts to come.

10 – Something so small can make a huge stink

9 – You can go though a whole day with only 2 hours sleep

8 – No amount of reading books will truly get you ready

7 – “Sleep through the night” means “for four hours straight”

6 – Babies “R” Us is an evil place (Pastor David should preach against it)

5 – We took less to college than we pack with her to cross the street

4 – Diapers can hold a lot

3 – Poop comes in a variety of colors and smells

Sometime I sit and watch my daughter sleep and think about how God must feel with us. Through everything that we put him through, day in and day out, when we mess up and turn away from his will. When we think we think we know what we WANT but ultimately he knows what we NEED. Yet, though it all he still loves us, he likes us, and says to us, “The cross, was completely and totally worth it!”
