I might just be Liberal

So November 4th has come and gone and I have moved on with my life. I have pulled my McCain/Palin yard sign out of my yard (I really don't have a yard). I'm rally more excited about being able to watch TV shows without being slammed with every political ad smearing their opponent.

So where do we go from here?
UNITY
Regardless of who we voted for shouldn't we Unite as a nation. I am amazed at how quickly the tides shifted. The same things that my conservative friends where complaining about during President Bush's years they are now doing toward President-Elect Obama. If you look at trends the Politial Pendalem has swung from one side to the other very quickly. So lets look at this from 2 angles.

#1 - President-Elect Obama is unable/unwilling to fufill the promises he made during his run for the White House
#2 - President-Elect Obama does fufill those promises

If he is unable or unwilling to fulfill these promises the American People Majority will be very quick to not follow him in 4 years to be re-elected (George H. Bush-remember "Read My Lips")
If he is able to fulfill these promises, cool, we are unified as a nation, in better finantial health. He will be re-elected and we will be a better nation.

I have leaned on some scripture during this whole time, I am in the wrong state to have an impact on the Presidential Race, Sorry there is a huge reason that canadates never visit the Sooner State. We don't have enough Electorial Votes and we always vote in the Conservative. I still voted. Knowing that God is in control and maybe the church need to sweat alittle. Romans 13:1-7

1Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. 2Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. 3For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and he will commend you. 4For he is God's servant to do you good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword for nothing. He is God's servant, an agent of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. 5Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also because of conscience. 6This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God's servants, who give their full time to governing. 7Give everyone what you owe him: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.

Regardless who lives as 1600 Pennsylvania Ave in Washington D.C. God is still on his thone, prayer still works and worry about who is in the White House does not help people come to know Christ as Savior!
